Who can climb
Visitors must be at least 42 inches (1.1 m) tall and climb on their own. 162 narrow steps from the top of the pedestal, no elevator.Source: National Park Service, Visit the Crown
Pickup
Tickets are never emailed. The person who paid collects them at the Will Call window of the departure point you booked, with the card they used. Everyone in the group must be there, and each adult shows a photo ID matching the name printed on their ticket. Names can't be changed.Source: Statue City Cruises, FAQ · Crown Reserve

Is the Crown open today?
Pick today on the calendar above. If either departure point shows spots, book on the official site. If both show Sold out, no time today had a spot at the last update, and no Crown tickets are sold at the ferry on the day. The Crown runs every day except Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. Last entry is 3:30 PM (1:30 PM on Christmas Eve).
Why are Crown tickets not available?
Sold Out means no spot is available for that date, at that minute, at that departure point, and spots often come back. A date that isn't shown yet is not on sale yet, and no release schedule is published.
Does New Jersey have tickets when New York is sold out?
Sometimes. New York and New Jersey are two separate tickets with separate calendars, so check both. You collect your tickets at the departure point you booked, so pick one you can reach on the day.
How far ahead does the Crown sell out?
Weeks to months ahead, depending on the date. Statue City Cruises recommends booking about three to four months ahead. No release schedule is published.
